“Copernicus” pays off the debts    23.06.2010

The group of Alexander Senatorov “Copernicus” (earlier the GC MIAN) has extinguished 70 % of its debts that were estimated in $ 300 ml in autumn 2009. According to the general director of the group Alexander Krasavin, the general debt of the group “Copernicus” reduced to $ 87 ml by June 2010 (40 % from the current cost of the assets).

The newspaper “Commersant” reports that he has informed that the group has returned $26 ml Credit Suisse, $ 15 ml to MDM bank, $ 13 ml to Rosbank, $ 8 ml — to Bank of Moscow. The part of credits, in particular to the basic creditor Alpha bank, was paid for the account of sale of a part of inhabited and office areas, besides the group has sold three developer platforms with the total area more than 30 000 sq m. Mr. Krasavin specifies that about $55 ml was possible to help at the expense of these transactions. As a result the developmental portfolio of “Copernicus” reduced from 1 ml to 350 000 sq m.

The largest creditor of “Copernicus” was Alpha bank that gave to the group $185 ml. As a result of transfer to the bank the business centers at Krasnaya Presnia (15 000 sq m), “Polar lights” at Pravda Street (37,800 sq m) and about 6 000 sq m in the elite inhabited complex “Copernicus” the debt to Alpha bank was reduced to $30 ml. The group “Copernicus” has several debts: its debt to Rosbank is $25 ml, its debt to Sobinbank is $ 7 ml and its debt to the bank “Opening” is $ 26 ml.

GC MIAN was created in 1995; it was renamed into the investment group “Copernicus” in November, 2008. The owner of the group is Alexander Senatorov. The share of MIAN at the market of realtor services at the market of Moscow and Moscow suburbs in 2008 was 10 %. A turn of realtor business is $ 10 ml a year, other financial indicators do not reveal.
