The company Heliopark signed the contract on technical support with the Open Company “The company on development of the mounting skiing resort “Rosa Khutor” (affiliated company of HC “Interros”) and was signed the memorandum of intentions on management of 3* hotel with the brand Heliopark after its delivery in operation, it is located at the under construction mounting skiing resort “Rosa Khutor” near Krasnaya Polyana, 40 km from Sochi.The sum of investments into the hotel’s building will be about $28 ml.
Heliopark became one of few Russian hotel nets that could make a competition to the western operators. Seven hotels of the resort “Rosa Khutor” will be operated by the foreign nets (Rezidor Hotel Group, Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, Accor and Swissotel), and the negotiations about two hotels are proceeded.
The hotel of a category 3* with 170 rooms with the total area 10 070 sq m will be constructed at 1,34 ha territory of the Bottom base of the mounting skiing resort “Rosa Khutor”. The hotel’s building was started in the end of May, 2010. It is planned that the hotel will be placed in operation in the end of 2011.
“The success of the company HELIOPARK became the natural result of long-term work. It is especially pleasant to notice that the company “Interros” is the skilled investor, among its projects are some hotels operated by the international hotel operators; that fact help to made a choice in favour of the Russian operating company”, - the President of the company HELIOPARK Alexander Gusakov marks.
The director for marketing of the largest Russian net of hotels AZIMUT Hotels Company Maria Vasilenko considers: “First of all, Rosa Khutor is a resort. The company Heliopark has a wide experience in that segment; most likely, it has allowed the company to sign the contract on management of one more resort object”.
HELIOPARK Hotels & Resorts is the Russian net of business hotels and 3-4 stars hotels for rest. HELIOPARK Group operates the hotels in Russia, Germany and in Ukraine. More than 60 000 visitors have a rest in Russian and European hotels of the net monthly. The hotel net includes 14 operating hotels, and 7 projects are at the realization stage. The portfolio of completely realized developmental projects includes 15 hotels corresponding to the international standards. The total room fund of operating and under construction hotels is about 2500 rooms. The company on development of the mounting skiing resort “Rosa Khutor” was created by HC “Interros” in 2003 for building of the Russian mounting skiing resort “Rosa Khutor” within the limits of development of the mountain-sea complex “Krasnaya Polyana” (Sochi). The total area of the MSR “Rosa Khutor” is 541 ha. Planned throughput of the resort should be 10 500 persons a day. More than 10 hotels, 18 lifts, about 80 km of lines will be constructed within the limits of the project. It is supposed that the project will be included into ten of the world largest mounting skiing resorts.
