“Rostelecom” is going to move

Новости компаний The company “Rostelecom” is going to move to the new offices in the business park “Rumyantsevo” located at the Kiev highway. The company is planning to collect all numerous divisions under one roof.
“Rostelecom” is going to lease from 70000 to 90000 sq. m in the business park of A class. At the present time, the company occupies 153000 sq. m of different classes in Moscow.
Moving of some technical services of the company to the new building is impossible.
"The trend of decentralization of office real estate has been occurring in the market since 2007, when the offer in this segment has been increasing in parallel with the increasing demand. However, the situation has changed dramatically during the crisis - the demand in this segment fell. However, the demand for remote offices gradually began to increase from the end of 2010"- Dmitri Volkov, the director of Project brokerage, consulting and appraisal Praedium Oncor International commented on the situation.
Dmitry Volkov said the business park “Rumyantsevo” is interesting for its location near the Ring Road not far from the airport Vnukovo.
Aleksey Shumkin, “NEO Center”, notes that more and more developers are turning their gaze to the region, on sites near the Moscow Ring Road due to the sharp reducing of sites for building of office real estate in Moscow as well as the increasing demand for high-quality office spaces.
“Rostelecom” is going to sell the part of the premises. According to sources close to the company it can be the buildings at 1st Tverskaya Street, 14, and Goncharnaya Street, 30.
“Rostelecom” is going to pay just over 300 euro per square meter a year, or 21-27 ml euro of lease payments per year.
The representatives of “Rostelecom” and “Stroyinvest” have refused comments.
According to Mr. Shumkin, the tenants of the business parks are the representatives of foreign companies and the logistic companies, the warehouses of which are also located outside Moscow.
