CRE Summit: Morgan Stanley is going to purchase “Galeria Mall” 29.06.2011

Investment bank Morgan Stanley is considering acquiring Galeria shopping and entertainment center in St. Petersburg.

Nikolay Kazansky, General Director of Colliers International St. Petersburg told about it during the CRE Summit conference. According to his words, the foreign investors are interested in the object of commercial real estate, but it all depends on the specific object. “These objects appear at the market. I am confident that the transaction will be”, - the expert said.

The shopping mall “Galeria” was officially launched in late November last year in the St. Petersburg city center. Its total area is 192,000 sq. m and GLA is 93,290 sq. m. It includes 290 shops, food court, multiplex “Formula Kino” in 10 halls, bowling, family entertainment center and large chain stores: supermarket “O’Key”, “M. Video”, “Sportmaster” etc.

The project nominated for CRE Saint-Petersburg Awards 2011, the winners will be announced tomorrow, on June 30.
