AZIMUT Hotels Company appears at the market of country hotels

The contract on management of the hotel “Novy Bereg” situated in Moscow region is signed.
AZIMUT Hotels Company has signed the contract on management of the hotel “Novy Bereg”, contract term is 20 years. The hotel is located in 7 km from Moscow on the bank of the Pirogovsk water basin. It is the first country hotel controlling by AZIMUT Hotels Company.
Earlier the company portfolio included only the business hotels. These hotels offer the services focused on business travelers mainly. In the near future the new hotel of the net will begin their work under the name AZIMUTH Hotel Novy Bereg. The company is planning the introduction of the brand AZIMUT Resort after the appearance of the first country hotel. AZIMUTH Hotel Kostroma working in a similar format would use the same brand.
The basic elements of the brand will stay the same; they will be habitual for constant visitors of the Net AZIMUTH. The colors will be changed – the internal premises of the hotels and all elements of the corporate style will be issued in warm, olive green and beige tones. The rebranding of the hotel will be done at the expense of the operating company.
The proprietor has set the operating company a problem of deducing of the financial indicators of the hotel the profitability of which was 33 % in the middle of 2008, on the pre-crisis level the next two years. The representatives of the operating company consider that the hotel could already reach this level by the end of 2011.
Mid-annual loading of the hotels in Moscow suburbs was 70 % in 2008; it grew 80-90 % during high seasons. The market of country hotels suffered more strongly than others during the crisis. However, the restoration of demand for country rest is appreciable now. According to the company’s forecasts, the market volume will return to the pre-crisis level the next one and a half year.

The director of AZIMUT Hotels Company Alexander Gendelsman: “The format of country hotel is new to our net, but we have a good experience of management by the hotel in Kostroma that enters into macro region Moscow and is similar to country hotels in many respects”.
