The Best isStill Ahead

The Russian Research Group (RRG) has published its real estate market monitor. The results were generally in line with previous forecasts, giving no reason for optimism. RRG experts also presented a new version of their cluster division of Moscow developed on the base of changes in the urban environment that took place over the past 5 years.

Warming Starts on Sites?

Muscovites knew the fact that the crisis stopped many construction projects not only from the press. We all got used to see construction running day and night, but suddenly in the fall of 2008 this process stopped with abandoned construction sites, cranes and rusting timber. However, in the summer of 2010 we can see some of those previously frozen projects resuming. Can we talk about a global "warming" in this case?

Valentina Stanovova:  "Diversification, stability and quality are our main principles"

The year 2010 was when the Capital Group received its just rewards. The Capital Group was recognized to be the "Best Developer in Russia", according to the annual survey of worldwide developers, conducted by Euromoney, while the "Company" magazine awarded the Group the title "Developer of the Year – 2009". In April, at the Commercial Real Estate Awards the Company received the "Golden Brick" for their "Capital City", which was recognized as the best mixed-use complex. In addition, Capital Group was a finalist in the nomination for "Developer of the Year". Valentina Stanovova, senior vice president of the Capital Group told CRE how her development company managed not to freeze any projects, and how the crisis has confirmed the correctness of the principles on which the company keeps building its business.
