MIPIM - the world's foremost real estate trade show MIPIM is the leading marketplace for investors, developers, local government and other real estate professionals. It provides a unique opportunity for industry decision-makers to meet, develop long-term relationships and showcase their latest development projects. Each March, the real estate industry gathers in Cannes to kick off the spring season of international investment events with the most proven business platform, which serves as a barometer of not just the global real estate sector but the general economic climate as well. MIPIM represents: o 4 days o 18,000 unique participants o 4,000 investors o 1,800 exhibiting companies o 90 countries o 1 Country of Honour: Germany 2012 Key information on MIPIM 2012 • Germany will be country of honour of MIPIM. A series of German-focused events are scheduled during MIPIM. It includes conferences, events and pitching sessions where German projects will be presented to a panel of investors. • Launch of a new concept entitled ‘Building innovation’ which place the building in the heart of the asset. It will focus on global management solutions of innovation in buildings and look at the topic with a holistic view, considering the building as a ‘living’ element within a living urban environment. With key stakeholders of the whole urban value chain, ‘Building innovation’ will consist in a pavilion showcasing innovative technologies and expertise as well as a dedicated conference programme. • MIPIM will provide investors with a dedicated event, the MIPIM Real Estate Investors’ Summit, a by-invitation event targeting high level decision makers of the industry, i.e. CEOs, fund managers, CIOs, specialised consultants and independent financial advisors. These senior executives will have the opportunity to gather together to exchange ideas and debate on pre-defined topics. A booklet featuring commentary, analysis and interviews will be published further to the summit and circulated to the real estate asset management industry. |
